- Every participant must carry a valid government-issued photo ID with address proof during the trek.
- This is an adventure trekking expedition organized by TVC and should not be considered a picnic or leisure outing.
- The instructions and decisions of the TVC Trek Leader are final and must be followed by all participants throughout the event.
- Help us preserve nature and heritage by not littering, damaging, or defacing forests, waterfalls, historical structures, or any natural surroundings.
- Swimming in waterfalls, lakes, ponds, or water tanks is strictly prohibited, as these water sources may be used by local communities.
- Participants must not step into water tanks or climb on cannons or protected structures during the trek.
- Consumption of alcohol, cigarettes, tobacco, gutkha, or any intoxicating substances is strictly prohibited. Anyone found violating this rule will be asked to leave the trek immediately without any refund, and the return journey will be at their own expense.
- Smoking or drinking alcohol at any point during the event is not permitted under any circumstances.
- Please avoid carrying expensive items such as jewellery, ornaments, or other valuables. TVC will not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
- Trekking and other outdoor adventure activities involve inherent risks. By joining the event, participants acknowledge these risks and agree that TVC and its organizers shall not be held liable for any injury, accident, loss, or compensation arising during the trek.
- Every participant is expected to maintain discipline and follow the trekking code of conduct to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
- The use of Bluetooth speakers, loud music, or earphones while trekking is strictly prohibited for safety reasons and to respect nature.
- Bluetooth speakers are not permitted inside homestays, campsites, or tents.Eating, drinking, smoking, or consuming alcohol inside tents is strictly prohibited.
- Any damage caused to camping equipment, including tents, poles, or accessories, will be charged to the participant at the current replacement cost (MRP).
- Participants are requested to report to the pickup point on time. If you miss the bus due to late arrival or are unreachable during pickup, TVC reserves the right to proceed without you. No refund or alternate transport will be provided.
- Kindly check the recommended Things to Carry list before departure and wear proper trekking shoes with a good grip for your safety.
- The itinerary may be modified or changed by TVC due to weather conditions, government regulations, or any unforeseen circumstances to ensure the safety of all participants.
- Registration amount is non-refundable.
- No refund will be provided for cancellations made within 48 hours of departure.
- No Show, No Refund. Participants who fail to report for the trek at the designated pickup point and time will not be eligible for any refund.
- Trek bookings are non-transferable. Once confirmed, your booking cannot be transferred to another departure date or to another participant.
- In the unlikely event that TVC cancels the trek, only the trek amount paid will be refunded.
- Any third-party charges or personal expenses incurred by the participant will not be reimbursed.
- If the trek is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of TVC, including but not limited to natural calamities, adverse weather conditions, political unrest, government restrictions, or any force majeure event, the standard cancellation policy shall apply.
- No refund will be provided if a participant is unable to attend the trek due to reasons such as heavy rainfall, flooding, traffic congestion, vehicle breakdown, missed train or bus, flight delays, or any personal or medical emergency.
- Bookings cannot be rescheduled or transferred to another departure if a participant is unable to join the trek due to weather conditions, traffic, transportation issues, personal commitments, or medical reasons.
- Participants travelling from flood-prone areas or locations affected by heavy rainfall, traffic, or other unforeseen circumstances are advised to plan their journey accordingly.
- Failure to reach the pickup point on time will not qualify for a refund or rescheduling.
- TVC shall not be held responsible for delays or disruptions caused by heavy rain, floods, landslides, road closures, traffic jams, public transport delays, or any personal emergency before or during the trek.
- Families travelling with children should be aware that trekking schedules may be affected by weather conditions, road closures, overcrowding at the destination, or vehicle breakdowns. In such situations, participants may experience delays or extended waiting periods.
- No refund or change of date will be applicable.For the safety of all participants, TVC reserves the right to change the trekking destination, modify the itinerary, alter the schedule, or cancel the event due to adverse weather, flooding, government directives, overcrowding, or any other operational or safety-related reason.
- During the trek, if the TVC Trek Leader determines that continuing the activity is unsafe due to weather conditions, route conditions, medical emergencies, or any unforeseen circumstance, the trek may be shortened, modified, or cancelled immediately in the interest of participant safety. In such cases, no refund or compensation shall be payable.
