The Golden City Jaisalmer

• Arrive at Jaisalmer Airport or Railway Station and transfer to your hotel. Check-in, freshen up, and get ready to explore the Golden City.
• Today we visit Jaisalmer Fort –  Gadisar lake  – Salim singh haveli.
• Head to the Historic Jaisalmer Fort, A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the few living forts in the world. Built in 1156 AD by Rawal Jaisal using yellow sandstone, which gives it a glowing appearance at sunset.
• After exploring the fort, make your way to the nearby Gadisar Lake, A beautiful man-made lake built in the 14th century, originally created as a water conservation tank. Surrounded by chhatris, temples, and ghats, it’s a peaceful spot for boat rides and bird watching.
• Salim Singh Ki Haveli - Built in the 18th century by Prime Minister Salim Singh. Famous for its peacock-shaped roof, arched balconies, and 38 intricately carved windows.
• In the evening, take a stroll around the famous Jaisalmer fort & one can explore the fort market. This lively market is perfect for experiencing the local culture, shopping for handicrafts, spices, traditional clothes, and jewelry.
• Overnight Stay at Jaisalmer.

Meals – Breakfast – (Dinner can be arranged at additional cost)

• After breakfast, check out from your hotel and set off on your journey to Jaisalmer sand dunes.
• On the way take a stop at an abandoned village believed to be cursed, where locals mysteriously vanished overnight around 200 years ago - Kuldhara Ghost Village.
• Reach the Golden sand dunes stretching for miles, On arrival check-in to your camps on the desert & relax for a while.
• Post-lunch, embark on a camel ride across the stunning sand dunes of the Sam Desert. Enjoy the breathtaking views as you ride through the golden landscape, creating unforgettable memories.
• For a more adventurous experience, join a jeep safari that takes you further into the desert Experience the thrill of racing over the dunes while taking in the mesmerizing desert scenery.
• As the sun sets, enjoy a vibrant folk dance performance by local artists. This cultural showcase highlights the rich traditions of Rajasthan and adds a festive atmosphere to your desert experience.
• Later in the evening, participate in a DJ night at the camp. Dance under the stars and enjoy the lively ambiance with fellow travellers.
• After dinner, relax around the bonfire, share stories, and enjoy the peaceful desert night. Finally, retreat to your comfortable tent for an overnight stay under the beautiful starry sky.

• After breakfast checkout from camp, Begin with a visit to the Tanot Mata Mandir -  Located 120 km from Jaisalmer, near the India–Pakistan border. Protected by the BSF, the temple became legendary when bombs dropped by Pakistan during the 1965 war didn’t explode. A symbol of divine protection and devotion.
• Also Visit Longewala War Memorial - Site of the historic 1971 battle, where 120 Indian soldiers defeated over 2,000 Pakistani troops with tanks.
• You can also view Battle tanks, Bunkers & AudioVisual documentary Maintained by the Indian Army/BSF.
• By evening return back to Jaisalmer city & get dropped at Jaisalmer airport or Station or Bus stand & begin your return journey back to Home.

Meals – Breakfast – (Dinner can be arranged at additional cost)

• Morning after breakfast checkout from your hotel, begin your journey towards Tanot mata. Distance: ~120 km (approx. 2.5–3 hrs).
• Visit Tanot Mata Temple - Known for its significance during the Indo-Pak War of 1971.
• Visit the small museum maintained by BSF showcasing unexploded bombs.
• Later begin your return journey back to Jodhpur airport or Station.
• Get drop & Start your return journey back to Mumbai.
